Photo Session: Denise's "Senior" Pictures, Allerton Park

My best friend, Denise, agreed to do a "Senior" photo shoot for me as a test for the upcoming senior pictures I'd be taking.  Ironically it falls on her 10 year reunion, which I thought was pretty cool.

Check out some of my favorite photos below.  All taken at Allerton Park, Monticello, IL

We had a little bit of fun while we were shooting... okay, maybe a lot of fun!

I love the innocence of this photo combined with the gorgeous green landscaping!

I LOVE this staircase!!  It leads to the top of a gazebo that overlooks the Fu Dog Garden.

Photo Session: Josh, Kaufman Lake

I wanted to shoot some pictures of a guy to get a handle on how I wanted pictures to look, since most of the people I've been shooting have been females.  So I talked my husband into a quick photo shoot at Kaufman Lake in Champaign.

Let me know whatcha think!

Photo Session: Jake the Salty Dog

When my mom went to the Salty Dog Cafe she brought back a super cute bandana and Jake squeeker toy for our Jake.  So I decided I needed to take some photos to send in to their website.  There, they actually post all the dog pictures.  And their mascot, is actually a black dog named Jake.  So I wanted to be sure to get his nametag in a picture or two.

Who knows, maybe my Jake could become famous someday! :)

Beginning of DSLR

This is one of the first pictures I took with my new (to me) Canon DSLR Camera.  I love how you can actually see individual snowflakes.  Gorgeous!!
